I'm a computer engineer and web developer from Portugal. Currently, I'm a full-stack Python web developer with a passion for clean code and minimalist user interfaces.
I started as a freelancer in 2003, and after teaching computer science classes between 2006 and 2009 I was granted a Ph.D scholarship. In 2010 I created Skyplux, a web application and in 2014 I started Flatangle, a web startup. After working as a backend developer in a financial startup, I'm working again as freelancer.
I have a PhD in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where I published work on Text-Mining - Natural Language Processing. I am also an amateur trombone player and a paraglider pilot with a personal record of 123 km in a cross-country unpowered flight.
